Our Friday evening program enables children from 3 and 4 years old (Tots/Lion cubs) (3 year olds must have siblings registered, and capable of listening to instructions) to 17 year olds to participate in track and field events in a friendly environment where everyone is encouraged to do their best regardless of ability. The Track and Field based competition is conducted throughout the summer sports season (September - March). We offer a range of events, which include running, jumping and throwing. Events are conducted on a weekly basis and are specially modified to suit the ages and abilities of children. 

 Holroyd is one of the oldest Little Athletic Centres in the state. Our colours are blue and gold, our centre number is 6, which means we were the sixth centre formed in the state, way back in 1971. In 2023 we were awarded Metropolitan Centre of the Year by Little Athletics NSW. An honor we are very proud of and strive to ensure that we maintain the satisfaction of our families. If your child receives a selection note at any time to represent the centre at a certain carnival, consider it an honour and do your best to ensure that they are available. We have had many State and National Champions and holders of records at that level, who have passed through our ranks over the years. Who knows, maybe your child will become one of these. Holroyd Little Athletics Centre acknowledges the Darug People, the traditional custodians of this land on which we jump, run, throw and walk, and pays respects to their elders both past, present and emerging.

Our
History

Founded in 1971, Holroyd Little Athletics Centre is a friendly, family-orientated club with a proud history. Our club motto is “Success in Participation, Not in Victory” We celebrated our 50th year on the 13 March 2021. We are proud of our history and all our members that have joined us over the years. Families may come and go as their children reach the finish lines of Little Athletics or focus on another sport, but the Blue and Gold uniform is still holding its place in a lot of families memories. At a state level. we were the sixth Little Athletics Centre established in NSW. At a Region level we are part of Region 7. At a Zone level, we are one of the six centres which make up the Mid-West Metropolitan Zone (MWMZ).
